An Aspheric Lenses refers to a lens that has a refractive surface that is non-spherical curved, non-spherical surface. It can be classified into two kinds that are simple surfaces (e.g. the parabolic surface) or compound surfaces. As opposed to a spherical one an aspherical lens is a spherical that has a rotationally symmetric surfaces, i.e., it has a constant curvature from the centre to its edge unlike an aspherical surface, which is a non-spherical that has a rotationally symmetric surfaces, i.e., it is smooth and rotationally symmetric and continuous according to the specific definition.

Aspheric lenses have a greater radius of curvature and are able to keep good aberration correction in order to get the desired performance. This lens reduces spherical distortions and efficiently reduces or removes aberrations along the edges by optimizing the form of the surface. This results in better correction of the object’s distortion or deformation at areas around the edge of an image.Custom To Contact Us
