Common optical components are lenses prisms, lenses, mirrors filters, polarizers and so on.
1.Lens Category
- convex lens: this is the most commonly used lens, it is able to focus light onto an exact point, and has the purpose of magnification and reduction.
- Concave Lens: The other side of the convex lens. the light is dispersed to avoid distortion of the image.
- biconvex lens: made up comprised of two lenses which concentrate light on only one point. They also have the capability to magnify at the highest magnification.
- Double concave lens It is composed of two concave lenses. They are primarily used to correct astigmatism and myopia.
2.Optical Prisms Lens

- Right-angle prism: A trihedron composed of two rectangles which reflect and reflect light beams. 2. Grating prism: A prism made up of two rectangles.
- Grating prisms: made up of multiple parallel prisms typically used for spectral analysis as well as optical measurements.
- Special prisms, like Sneer prisms and prisms and so on. Each one with distinct functions and features.
3.The Reflector Type
- Plane reflector: The reflection surface of the glass plane, is able to reflect light and alter its direction.
- Curved mirror: reflective surface used for the aspherical or spherical mirror, mostly used in microscopes, telescopes or other optic instruments. can be used to focus on light.
4.Polarizers

- Polarizers: are able to select the direction of light and help to control the intensity and hue of light.
- Polarizing prisms: make use of the refractive index differences of various materials to differentiate light rays from different directions.
5.Optical Filter Lens
- Optical filters: They can filter light with a certain wavelength. 2. Central wavelength filters are the middle wavelength of light.
- Center wavelength filter: just light that is passing across the middle wavelength is able to be able to pass through.
