The role of the triple prism
A triple prism is an optical instrument with a triangular cross-section and two main optical characteristics: dispersion and deflection. Based on these two characteristics, a prism has these two basic applications:

1.Creating rainbows
The white light we see is a composite of various rays of different wavelengths, which, after passing through a prism, “split” into rays of different colors to form a rainbow – this is known as the “dispersion This is called the “dispersion” effect.
This is called the “dispersion” effect. Using this effect, you can use the prism to add rainbows to your work. Whether it’s a simple, crude rainbow in the face for a portrait or as a background for a still life, the effect is great.

2.Change the direction of light
Light changes direction dramatically as it passes through a prism, which means that when you look through the mirror, you will see the scene around you at an angle of about 90°.
