Germanium is well suited for infrared laser applications due to its wide spectral operating range (2-16µm) and impermeability in the visible spectral range.
It also does not react easily with air, water, alkali metals and acids (except nitric acid). (Processing size: Φ5-Φ150)

Applications:
Germanium lenses are mainly used in, infrared thermometers, infrared thermal imagers, Co2 lasers and other devices.
